My thoughts on Application longevity & Packaging.

First up the Couture Stain, Nude Emblem (middle in pic) this is the first liquid matte lip stain by YSL Beauty. It’s highly pigmented, tattoos lips for up to eight hours feels really comfortable on lips and offers full coverage. The way it wears is truly something else, it’s the perfect lip stain. Does not dry out lips, has no loss of colour, stays put through out the day, basically does exactly what it says on the box. The colour its self is a gorges nude, with pink undertones. This nude is not as pale as some nudes out there, Most nudes look terrible on me as im medium skin toned, however this looks so good on me with or without the full glam. This is a gloss type lip stain with a wand applicator. The tube is a frosted glass finish, the wand is designed for precision application, and has the ability to be rather flexible, you have to see it to believe it. This is my fave from the three I have purchased. It’s definitely an all round winner. I have also added pic of me wearing the beautiful lip stain.

Next the Rouge Volupte Shine, in Coral A Porter.

First of all lets talk about the packaging of this lipstick its to die for literally! its so pretty (First left in pic above) I absolutely love it. The outer packaging is the reason why I considered buying these beauties. This particular lipstick does not offer full colour coverage like your average lipsticks, because its more like a lip tint with a shiny finish. On application it looks like a light pink. It’s very light in colour can build to medium coverage. It’s not sticky or tacky to wear feels like a balm on the lips. It’s perfect for every day wear. The outer packaging (box) states oil in a stick ready to care and shine lip colour, I couldn’t agree more. I love the way it smells like fruity peach, I could eat it, smells so good, but I won’t.

lastly the Rouge Pur Cature, in Rouge Rose

Its apply as a beautiful satin finish, and is pure in colour, by this i mean it’s really rich and very pigmented. The colour is a vibrant pink, with orange under tones. This product does last throughout the day, but will need to be topped up. The scent can be described as a pleasant rose smell, not over powering. The packing is a sold gold tube, looks fab with and with out cap. I truly love it, it’s so satisfying to the eye, because of the pretty packaging. If you love makeup you know what I mean. Also inserted a pic below of me wearing the lippy also see snatches below too. Thank you for visiting. Please feel free to leave a comment or ask questions in the comment section.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lip Review

This is the first ever item I have purchased from the great Anastasia Beverly Hills, well from her web anyway.

Theses stunning lip colours are only available exclusively on the website at http://www.anastasiabeverlyhills.co.uk/

I love the fact that theses are full size and affordable, available for £34.00 for six beauties.

Application opinion & thoughts

The colour pay of is intense. They are really pigmented each colour is absolutely beautiful really rich in colour. Theses matt lip colours are amazing in terms of lasting power it will not budge after application. Do bear in mind how insanely pigmented these are, one will need to have a steady hand on application as it is not easily removable when accidentally over lining lips a little too much, unless that’s the look your going for then do so.

longevity

After five hours wear, the colour looked as if I had just applied It. Stayed perfect all day, until I had something to eat & drink of course. A little re application was necessary. I did find it drying, but lip balm before hand seems to rectify the problem. Also do bear in mind not to apply two layers as cracks will appear as the day goes on. Over all i’m really impressed with theses lip colours.

The lip colour is really creamy and buttery, & dries to a matt finish, which I love. My personal favourite is Current and Toast they are great for everyday wear however, Stripped is much to pale for me, as for the Requiem (green colour) well that one is totally insane and will look great on anyone, the red colour (American Doll) we all need that as one of many reds in our collection. This collection is really great for all skin tones, she has really done great in putting these colours together.

In my opinion these are totally worth the money as you may know each lip colours from Anastasia will cost around £20.00 for one, If I were to buy six individually it would cost me £120.00 Thats a saving of £86.00 how awesome!! A great collection for any individual.

Blogging

Hi my name is Najma, I’ve finally decided to start a blog, yay me!

A while back I fell in love with the YouTube world of blogging (makeup tutorials to be specific), doing their face like a pro, soon after I got hooked and practiced & you know practice makes for better makeup application. As my interest continued to grow I decided to get on the pro game, and got a Make Up Artist Certificate as a profession,  Although I enjoy making up clients for special occasions, my long-term goal is to start my own channel on YouTube so that I can share what has become my passion, which is to enhance beauty through make up. For now I’ve decided to share my opinion and thoughts through blogging I mean why not right! So thank you for joining me In my journey.
